1. Introduction

Welcome to the digital environment of iTS & iTSmedia, operating within the “Informacijske usluge” (information services) sector. We believe that access to information, digital content, and IT services must be available to everyone, regardless of physical, sensory, or cognitive abilities.

Our objective is to ensure an inclusive digital environment in which all users can easily access our IT solutions, technical support, and community resources.

This website is developed using the SITE123 platform, which supports high accessibility standards and is designed to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and the EU Web Accessibility Directive (EU) 2016/2102

This helps us provide full and equitable access for users with disabilities, including those who rely on assistive technologies.

2. Our accessibility mission

Technology should connect people, not create barriers. Accessibility is therefore an integral part of how we design, develop, and improve the online services of iTS & iTSmedia.

Our guiding principles are:

  • Equal opportunities: All users have the right to equal access to digital content, services, and information.
  • Barrier removal: We actively identify and remove obstacles that may hinder access to our content or services.
  • Continuous improvement: We regularly test, review, and optimise our pages to enhance accessibility and usability.

3. Key elements of accessible design

To support a high level of accessibility, we implement the following measures or are in the process of implementing them across the iTS & iTSmedia website:

3.1 Semantic Structure and HTML5

  • Use of clear, semantic HTML5 elements such as <header>, <footer>, <nav>, <main>, <section>, and <article> to define the logical structure of pages.
  • Implementation of appropriate ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) where needed, to clarify the role and state of interface elements for assistive technologies.

3.2 Multimedia Content

  • Provision of meaningful alternative text (alt text) for informative images and graphics.
  • Where possible, inclusion of captions and/or transcripts for video and audio content, particularly for core informational materials.

3.3 Forms and Interactive Elements

  • Use of clear and descriptive labels for form fields.
  • Logical and predictable keyboard navigation order through form controls and interactive components.
  • Use of error messages that are understandable and, where possible, accompanied by guidance on how to correct the issue.

3.4 Contrast and Readability

  • Use of high colour contrast between text and background to improve legibility.
  • Avoidance of using colour as the sole means of conveying information, ensuring that information is available through text, icons, or patterns.
  • Support for browser zoom and user font size adjustments without loss of content or functionality.

3.5 Navigation and Links

  • Clear, descriptive link text that indicates the destination or purpose of the link.
  • Predictable and consistent navigation across the site to help users understand where they are and how to move between sections.
  • Logical heading hierarchy to support quick orientation and efficient use of assistive technologies.

3.6 Keyboard Navigation

  • Full support for keyboard-only navigation across the main areas of the website.
  • Visible and consistent focus indicators that show which element is currently selected via keyboard.

3.7 Responsive Design

  • Implementation of responsive layouts that automatically adapt to mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop devices.
  • Design that supports interaction via touch, mouse, and keyboard on a wide range of devices and screen sizes.

4. SITE123 platform and accessibility support

The SITE123 platform, on which the iTS & iTSmedia website is built, provides a range of accessibility-oriented features, including:

  • Tools and settings that facilitate alignment with WCAG 2.1 requirements.
  • Options for adjusting colours, fonts, and contrast to improve readability.
  • Compatibility with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and screen magnifiers, in modern browsers and operating systems.

While the platform offers robust accessibility support, we remain responsible for configuring and maintaining our content in an accessible manner.

5. Testing and validation

To verify and enhance accessibility, we regularly use a combination of automated and manual testing methods, such as:

  • WAVE Accessibility Tool for automated checks and structural analysis.
  • Google Lighthouse audits for accessibility metrics and recommendations.
  • Simulations with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation to evaluate practical usability.
  • Colour and contrast checks to confirm compliance with recommended contrast ratios.

These activities are aimed at detecting and removing barriers in a timely manner and ensuring ongoing optimisation of the user experience.

6. Known limitations and Third-Party content

Despite our continuous efforts, some limitations may still be present, including:

  • Older documents or PDF files that may not yet meet all accessibility requirements.
  • Third-party widgets or embedded components (such as videos, maps, payment or booking tools) that are not fully under our technical control.
  • Occasional missing or incomplete alternative text for newly added images.
  • Multimedia content without captions or transcripts, particularly older materials.

We are actively working to identify and address these issues. However, because external services are operated by independent providers, we cannot guarantee full accessibility of all third-party elements. Where feasible, we strive to offer accessible alternatives or additional information.

7. Accessibility of physical locations

iTS Servis and iTSmedia may operate one or more physical locations. Accessibility arrangements can vary depending on the specific building or facility. If you plan to visit us in person, we encourage you to contact us in advance to obtain information on:

  • Availability of accessible parking spaces.
  • Elevator or lift access, where applicable.
  • Ramps or step-free entrances.
  • Accessible restrooms, where available.
  • Seating and waiting-area accommodations.
  • Any additional assistance you may require.

We will be pleased to provide information on physical accessibility arrangements upon request.

8. User Feedback and Contact

Accessibility is a shared responsibility and a continuous process. We welcome your feedback, suggestions, and reports of any barriers you encounter while using the iTS & iTSmedia website or services.

If you experience difficulties, notice an accessibility issue, or require support in accessing any content, please contact us:

To help us resolve issues efficiently, please include, where possible:

  • The URL or page on which the problem occurred.
  • A brief description of the issue encountered.
  • The browser, operating system, and device you were using.
  • Any assistive technology involved (for example, a specific screen reader or browser extension).

We aim to respond to accessibility-related enquiries within a reasonable timeframe and, where applicable, in accordance with relevant legal requirements.

9. Future Plans and Ongoing Commitment

We are committed to further enhancing the accessibility of the iTS & iTSmedia digital environment. Our planned activities include:

  • Regular training of employees on up-to-date accessibility guidelines and best practices.
  • Collaboration with external experts to review and improve our accessibility implementation.
  • Development and integration of innovative solutions that support users with diverse needs.
  • Systematic review of new and existing content to ensure continuing alignment with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and relevant EU and national regulations.

Our goal is to create and maintain a digital environment that is accessible, stable, secure, and scalable for all users, and to support organisations and individuals in building sustainable, competitive digital strategies for the future.

Thank you for using our services and for supporting our mission of an inclusive, accessible internet.
